CueForward is a race event management platform operated by Chuzie Group (“we”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and who sees it. It covers this website (cueforward.com) and the application at app.cueforward.com.

Two kinds of people

Race organizations sign up for CueForward and use it to run their events. For them we are the service provider: their account, their staff, their settings.

Participants register for an event, buy merchandise, or appear in results. Their information belongs to the race organization that collected it. We process it on that organization's behalf and under its instructions. Questions about how a specific race uses your information should go to that race first; we will help them answer.

What we collect

  • Account information for organization users: name, email address, role, and sign-in records. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google.
  • Registration information entered by participants: name, contact details, date of birth, gender, emergency contact, shirt size, the answers to any questions the race asks, and waiver acceptance.
  • Registration page activity: when you use an event's registration pages we record which steps you reached, so the organizer can see where registrations are lost. This is linked to you only if you submit a registration; before that it is an anonymous identifier that lives in your browser tab and is discarded when you close it. No cookie is set and no IP address is kept.
  • Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. We keep the amount, the last four digits, and Stripe's transaction identifiers.
  • Orders and shipping: items bought, shipping address, and fulfillment status including carrier tracking numbers.
  • Results and timing data imported by the race or its timing company.
  • Data from connected systems, when a race connects one: for example, historical registrations imported from Race Roster, or contacts synced with HubSpot.
  • Usage information: pages visited, features used, and basic device information, collected to keep the service working and improve it. On this website we use Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
  • Walkthrough requests submitted on this website: the name, email and event details you enter, which are emailed to us.

How we use it

  • To run the service: registrations, payments, confirmations, check-in, results, fulfillment.
  • To provide analytics and AI features to race organizations about their own events. Questions you ask our AI features, and the data needed to answer them, are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) under terms that do not permit training on your data.
  • To send transactional email: confirmations, receipts, invitations, password resets.
  • To communicate with race organizations about their account.
  • To keep the service secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use participant information for our own marketing.

Who we share it with

Service providers who process data for us, each under a contract limiting their use of it:

  • Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting) — infrastructure.
  • Stripe — payments and payouts to race organizations.
  • Resend — transactional email.
  • Anthropic — AI features.
  • Shipping carriers and label providers chosen by the race organization, for orders that ship.
  • Systems a race organization chooses to connect, such as HubSpot or Race Roster.

We also share information when a race organization instructs us to, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Retention

We keep organization and participant data for as long as the race organization has an account, plus a reasonable period afterwards so that results, receipts and tax records remain available. Race organizations can ask us to delete their data at any time.

Your choices

  • Organization users can view and update their account details in the app.
  • Participants can ask the race organization to correct or delete their information, or write to us and we will route the request.
  • Transactional email cannot be opted out of while you hold a registration, because it is how we deliver it.

Cookies

The application uses cookies only to keep you signed in. This website sets no tracking cookies. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because we do not track visitors across sites.

Children

Youth participants are registered by a parent or guardian through the race organization. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced to race organizations by email.
